HOW TO SEW A BUTTON



DO YOU REMEMBER THESE TWO OBJECTS? 

ESL Vocabulary - Sewing Clothes, Page 2

 We are going to need them again, so go and find a normal needle and some thread in your home. Then find one (or more) buttons. They can be from an old shirt or blouse. 
We are going to learn to sew a button! 

 First watch this video: 


And then, practice to sew a button to any cloth you like, and send me a photograph to anaruiz@escolapiosemaus.org

 Voluntary Activity: If you like doing it, you can sew more than one and create an original picture!

ONE-POINT PERSPECTIVE

DO YOU ALL REMEMBER THE ONE-POINT PERSPECTIVE  ACTIVITY WE DID IN CLASS ? IT LOOKED SOMETHING LIKE THIS:  This week we are going to do a different one, but still starting from one point. Look at these images, these are the steps to create a CIRCULAR one-point perspective building scene . Have a look at the three images below:  Do you understand the idea?  If you need help , you can watch this video (voluntary):  Recommendations : start with pencil, trace it with black marker only when you are happy with the result, and use creative and original ideas to finish it!  You have one week . Send the finished pictures to Edmodo or to my email : anaruiz@escolapiosemaus.org

FIRST CONDITIONAL CHAIN

Good morning! How are you today? Ready for a bit of English? Like we did in class,  write a First Conditional sentence (try to invent a funny one!),  and send  it by email to anaruiz@escolapiosemaus.org You have all week, BUT DON'T FORGET!  We will answer you, and then you will use it to write a chain of at least 10 sentences. We will publish some of them here. Some of you have written good sentences, you can use them as examples:  If I don't go to the hairdresser's quickly, I will look like Tarzan! If I don't play soccer soon, I'll be like a snail in a race. If I stay at home I will stay a lot of time with my family. If I stay a lot of time with my family I will play with them. If I play with them I will make more jokes. If I make more jokes they will laught a lot. If they laught a lot they will not pay attention. If they don’t pay attention I will win the games. If I will win the games I will be the champion!
